Household exercise equipment needed!

Post by Waiting_For_Godot »

I'm stuck indoors in a tiny flat with no exercise equipment for the next week (long story) and I need some weights for my legs. I can't jump about due to the neighbours so weight lifting is all I can do and the floor space is too small to do large stretches (I did say tiny)! I have dumbbells for my arms but is there a fitness fanatic out there that can give me any DIY suggestions for lifting weights for legs? :?

You could lie down with them resting on your ankles and do leg lifts I suppose?

Put the rice into old socks and fasten around the ankles with velcro.

Have never tried this myself. I just let a small child attach itself to my ankle and practise lifting them. Kids love that.

What about a bit of squatting.

You mean W-F-G should break into somebody else's, larger flat - preferably one with a mini-gym?

Done some square but need to lift in a confined space. I don't even know how to lift leg weights - do I just randomly lift my legs up? :?

Don't know.Just make sure you don't hurt your back/neck.You might be stuck on the floor for weeks.

What about the bicycle movement.

Just replace censored bit with you tube.

Don't overdo it, just do a couple.

If you stuck in a pokey flat how about jogging? Much better for your sanity . Even 5 minutes jogging will do you wonders. Go on WFG, I am rooting for you.
