They can go a funny colour if knocked hard because they bleed inside. Sometimes the tooth dies but stays in place. My dentist says one of my front incisors is technically dead, but as it is firmly in place there is no cause to worry.
Having to face up to fact that DD will need braces too. Our Dentist is very good and was able to warn us when she was in nursery, just by looking at her jaw and milks. Now she is in year 6 the time is getting closer and the need more apparent. Keeping those permanents clean when the are so packed and higgeldy is hard.
