I think you would be Lady Inky De Pinky - Ponky. :D

Wow!

Scarlett that's a jolly good corker of an idea - will have to look into how much it is to change my name by deed poll .....

though we'll start by all you peasants calling me by my new, lovely, shiny, posh name!

Just been reading the other thread on tutoring for grammars and, scarlett, I would have given you a place based on your amusing writing style alone.

The printer we use at work also is an extra in films and TV on the side, he came in last week and said he was currently filming the Downton Abbey Christmas Special.

We didn't ask anymore (although he's not allowed to tell us anyway) as it would spoil the surprise.

Can't wait - will spend all my time trying to spot him, just hope he doesn't get edited out.

How exciting ! I'd love to be an extra !

I was just thinking , Lady Inky , that I would like to be your ladys maid so I could pinch your hand cream they always seem to slather on at bedtime . Actually, I think I'd rather be your sister Lady Scarlett De Pinky-Ponky and have my hair brushed for hours and wear those beautiful clothes .Mmmmm.

Just read on the internet that there is going to be a third series set in the 1920's which will be shown next year. Brilliant news as this is one of the best dramas on tv and certainly deserves another series. The question is now, who will return?

It's got to be the mysterious bandaged guy - remember him? The one who arrived to claim his inheritance then slunck off. Maybe he'll have a miraculous Matthew-like recovery and all his burns will have healed, he will re-claim Lady Mary's hand and she wiil fall head over heels for him, abandoning the Lavinia/ Matthew baby she was just about to adopt as her own.

Yep, think I've got it

Haven't got long here, but are you being mean about Downton ? ? ?

It's my favourite thing on the TV....if you are being mean, I shall leave EPE for ever.

Have you noticed that the only way to leave Downton Abbey is too die... :?

William - injured but returned ( to die)
Matthew- injured, but returns
Carson - offered new job in H. House (Mary's new house) but turns it down
Bates- moves away but returns to his old job
Thomas - becomes a soldier, but returns as hospital manager
Lavinia - leaves, but returns to nurse sick finance
Chauffeur/Sybil - elopes but gets caught
Matthews mum - leaves to look after refugees but returns

No-one can escape...is EPE the same?

( already booked my seat on the sofa, and planned a large glass of red wine for tomorrow!)

You've just backed up my bandaged guy theory, he has to return.......unless, of course, he's dead.

How about maid-with-baby Pheasantchick? She has left but is desperately trying to return. Maybe she'll end up with Sir Richard (as he also won't be able to leave of course)
