Oh my goodness.. It's like being home with mother again. Do you know how long she has been outraged by the mis-use of the word 'momentarily'.
I am one of those plagued by the inability to spell. Thankfully, my children are not, and it is them wot is goin to skool, ain't it.

ah yes the american pilot who said "the plane will take off momentarily...." one hopes it takes off for a little longer than that!!!

Sorry about being a spelling pedant... once seen I can never forget how a word should be spelt - quite helpful to me when it is the name of a medication or obscure disease - but irritating to others I know!
