Good, bad or indifferent?
Just wondered what people thought of these stats:
52% of all exams were at A* or A at GCSE - 96 students entered
75% of exams were at A level - A*, A or B - 180 students entered
Just reading through some different schools but not sure how these results should be interpreted
Thanks

Re: Good, bad or indifferent?
depends to some extent what the school intake is! vv good for non selective - not so great for superselective..
Re: Good, bad or indifferent?
For comparison - a selective school in our "opt out" area that takes approx the top 35% of a cohort would get results like 75% A*/A and 100% A-C. An upper school in our area would strive for the results you quote - 50-60% A-C is "normal".
