Hi
My son like to write stories . He started this when he was 5 years old and now he is 14 years old. For his 15 th birthday I am thinking of giving a present book –the book written by him .I would like to compile all his stories including picture stories from 5 years to his latest one –thriller. I would like it with good illustrations and an attractive cover . I can’t even guess how happy he will be if I was able to give him this present.
So can any members help me and advise me how I can achieve this . I need somebody to print a book like this , I am sure many printers will not be interested in this as its a small job . so my question where can I give this to print in Reading as I cannot afford to spend a big amount for this and if its affordable cost I can go for only 5/6 copies . WE can add the pictures and design the front cover so can anybody know any printers who is good in doing this small job at affordable amount- many Thanks

A friend of mine wrote a technical book and has it for sale via 'the big river' online store. He does it as a print on demand thing so one is only printed when a copy is sold so it must be doable. I'll try and find out some details

I've sent you a message.

ooo could you send me your link too, please, Thingsbehindthesun. Thought it would be a nice thing to treat my DS to, as he's working so hard on his stories at the moment. :D

Try a local book binder. The link below is to my local one who I used when getting my thesis bound. They are used to doing small orders, and are very friendly. This one is in Farnborough, but there are likely to be local binders everywhere.
