Ooh I used to play in a Steel Band for just under 10yrs! It started in school and I carried it on out of school for a good few years.
We had such fun, playing on the back of a moving float for carnivals and especially when we were in Carnival Messiah at the West Yorkshire Playhouse.
It is such a fun, sociable instrument to play, if you can find a group then I would throughly recommend it.
Ah, memories!
