Go, take an umbrella, and a chair to sit on if you can. It doesn't last very long so keep a keen eye out, but soak up the atmosphere and enjoy!

I was in 'two minds' as to whether to go or not but your positive comments have made me decide to go. Thank you.

Hadn't decided on what time to try to get them there by yet - its really hard to judge how popular it will be.

I agree. DS said that 'everyone' is going from his school and beyond! This could mean a few hundred to a few thousand, who knows!

It will mean a very early start that day for us but I think it will be worth it.

I'm not usually one for joining in these sort of things, but did feel this warranted the effort (more for my dd than for me really - plus it was a couple of hours out of the house). I have to say I'm so glad I went, it really was nice to be part of something. The number of people who did turn up was spectacular and made it feel worth the effort. I know you'll enjoy it!
