So far, I have had a look at DS1 and DD's schools, and one other local secondary - this last one apparently has no data available for Science for 2012 :?

I can pick apart the statistics, and know the inherent problems, but seeing 4th or 5th quintile for every single category (apart from attendance!) still makes miserable reading. It has been useful to get DH to get his head out of the sand though and see that my concerns are valid.

I'm now having the debate about how important primary education is. If we get them to a good secondary / grammar through parental input, then will there be any long term impact for them? We can walk to school now vs a 15 / 20 minute car journey every morning with all the associated problems of them doing different afterschool clubs. Sorry, I went off topic. I almost wish I hadn't looked at the flipping dashboard now.
