Just thought I'd pick up on Catherine's comment - I will be facing a quite bizarre situation next week ...

Number 1 Son in upper sixth will be escorting Number 2 Son starting in year 7. Number one will travel with a fountain pen; Number two will have that tortoise back pack and new PE kit ...

My 'baby' is TINY - size 13 shoe, still needs a booster seat for gods sake!

His back pack is bigger than him - one stray push from a year8 and he'll be doing the dying fly outside the school gate - :lol:

To all the ickle 11year olds....And the big guys too. Bless all their cotton socks,and may they ALL do well! Sue, size 13 shoe? That is small. Size 13 little? As in before a little 1? You are joking right? I just cannot imagine anyone as small as my son.
PS. I loved the booster seat bit. AALLLLL THE BEST YOU LOT :D

Yup, a proper little size 13! School trousers aged 6/7! Had to send off for a tiny blazer and he was sooo pleased when i managed to shrink his new rugby shirt! (god bless the tumble dryer)!

I had a boy in my Y7 tutor group that had to have a blazer specially made as he was sooo small ... he's a strapping Y13 now!!

GOOD LUCK to all mums and dads! We teachers will try very hard to look after them and make them feel welcome ...
