Can you recommend CDs, audio books or podcasts that teach French to children. I am have tried a few but find they go to fast in introducing the words to the chikdren. All recommendations and advice very much welcome. Looking for spoken French with English comments to teach them rather than French songs.

I want the children to learn during the school run. Thanks

Can't you just let them sing to all the songs on the radio (especially the rude ones), whinge, eat and fight like everyone else does?

I remember you were asking about this a couple of years ago Organicgreen. Did you find anything then?

We have a couple of the Adventures with Nicolas set in Spanish. Not too many words (the book is bilingual) and songs in Spanish. They are also available in French but don't seem to be current any more so you would have to look secondhand.

I have found a few that sing songs and I also found a podcast that had 5 spoken lessons. These are good but I am still looking for one with spoken lessons for children age 5-11.

The bookpeople have a lot of language books aimed at primary children at the moment.

Yes, this has a CD with it.

There is a free Apple app called 'Basic French' which is pretty good
