Costume

Post by parents666 »

My DS needs a Victorian overcoat/costume for his high school play. Can anyone please help where I can find that?
Thanks

Ebay? Frilly white shirt, long skirt and shawl or poncho.

Lol phesantchick!! It's s DS!!!

You could look on ebay under Frock coat? Or fancy dress shops but they tend to be pricey! Does the school not have a dressing up box/cupboard?

We had something similar and DS went for the street urchin look: baker boy style cap, shredded trousers, dirtied up old shirt and a black waistcoat.

When dd had to dress in victorian costume, I bought it from a local fancy dress shop for a tenner. I think they had boys costumes as well for around the same price. I would have a look at ebay or a local fancy dress shop.

I decided to buy dd's one as we can use it for dd2 when it's her turn! :D

We used this for both tudor and victorian Dress Up Days

I know it's an adults size but it worked for my DS. For tudor day we added a couple if feathers.

A pair of black jogging bottom with long black football socks gives the right look and an old men's white shirt with a few extra dirty marks etc
