If you are looking for some entertainment over the Easter break and live anywhere near Kingston, my DD and I can thoroughly recommend the stage adaptation of Jacqueline Wilson's "Hetty Feather", at the Rose Theatre until 19th April. I'm not a fan of all JW fiction but the Hetty Feather series of books is very good, and the stage version was excellent; it really cleverly used the physical space available on the Rose stage, with great acting, acrobatics and music. My DH was entranced too. Did not take DS but I think he'd have enjoyed it. My DD was very excited as Jacqueline Wilson herself was there in the audience and she met her and got her autograph.
