How to do revision for exam? any tips?

Hi all,
Hope you are having fantastic Easter holidays.
My DC who is in year 7 in GS wants some tips and suggestions on how to revise.
It will be great help if it is subject wise.
what to do for Maths/Science/English
Any small things which help for your kids to revise.

A big pack of coloured pens or fineliners

Good quality paper

Encourage him/her to make notes and diagrams/mind-maps

For some subjects, youtube videos can be a great source of revision material.

Then suggest that your child completes practice questions from workbooks or the web. If you print these out for them remember to print the answers too so they can check their work.

Sometimes the teachers provide notes and questions too...
