Please can someone give me an indication of what levels are classed as good for the end of year 8.
My DD goes to local comprehensive and I just would like an idea of what levels she should be at. She started year 7 on primary school level 6 Maths and English and level 5 Science.

In a GS I would expect about level 7 maths, level 6/7 English and level 6 science.

KS2 Level 6 is really a high level 5 ...

Thank you guest55 for the information. I just wanted to get an idea as she didnt manage to get into GS which was a surprise at the time but it seems she is still doing well then as she is 7a for Maths and 6a science and 7c English. I presume languages are scored differently as she is only getting 5a in both of these.
