School league tables, can someone explain how to read them?
Someone on here very kindly told me about the School League Tables (http://www.education.gov.uk/schools/per ... index.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) and how that's a good way to see which schools add the most value to a student's learning.
But. I am really bad at reading such things and I don't really know how to read them. Can anyone help me?
Private is not an option for us, so it's grammar or state school and whilst there's more to it than league tables, it is one part of the picture so I'd like to be able to read them and see which schools perform best not just at end results (that bit I can work out!), but at bringing children on.
Hope this makes sense.
