We went to Portsmouth this summer and went to both the Spinnaker Tower and the Historic Dockyard and had a great time. Really enjoyed both, especially the trip round the harbour looking at the warships currently in port, fascinating.
Spent the whole day at the Dockyard and didn't see half of it. Tickets are valid for a year though and we got ours courtesy of Mr. Tesco, otherwise it's quite an expensive day - I believe tickets for adults are £28.
