But the two are so compatible - cricket is nothing without tea!

I love both (so there!) and am celebrating the Ashes win with a nice slice of coconut madeira - anyone?

It's generated plenty of baking enthusiasm in this house too. We have ginger nut cookies, chocolate truffles, lemon whoopie pies and chocolate brownie whoopie pies baked here since yesterday morning!

I like both too. I really don't understand though why people put themselves under that sort of pressure.

I think the next programme should be called the healthy bake off. It is amazing what you can cook simply with healthy ingredients. I am a bit obsessed by fixing healthy alternatives. My Dd is used to it but some of her friends turn their noses up a bit so not for everyone. Tonight's pudding was avocado, banana coconut cream and raw cacao powder mouse with cacao nib sprinkles and it was delicious. Dd always has to take a small handful of cacao nibs to school to munch on before tests. She swears by them, says they clarify her mind.

I'm not sure I'd want to eat powder mouse, let alone a raw cacao one.....

I see that the 'amateur' status of some of the competitors is being questioned.

Powdered mouse is far more likely in the Masterchef invention test - yum!
