dd2 has gone off Shakespeare (if she was ever "on") and is really angry that US authors have been dropped from the syllabus and she feels that she will be forced to have a grinding diet of nothing but the Bard for the next 3-5 years.

Any suggestions? to rekindle some interest? maybe humourous?

It has to be subtle, she will smell a rat a mile away.

Rowan Atkinson and Huge Laurie at their impressive best. This can be interpreted in different ways by different members of the audience depending on their viewpoint.

BBC2 is looking for an audience for the Shakespeare Live! event as well now, though applications close on Tuesday 5 April so you'll need to be quick!
