I did the walk around the battlefield some years back - very interesting to see the lie of the land. You can listen in to the (supposed) 'thoughts' of each side as the battle unfolds.

I guess I better make the most of 950.....I love Battle and the surrounding countryside, the tour does bring it all together in your mind.

Friday 14th October as well as being the 950th anniversary of the Battle of Hastings is also 11+ results day in Bucks!
