My eldest dd went to a tutor 9 years ago as she really struggled with maths, cost was £25 for 80 minutes very small group of no more than 4. Same tutor helped prepare my youngest with 11+ prep a few years later and now she's back there to get a head start for the new gsce maths (she's currently year 10) current cost is £26 for 80 minutes! An increase of just £1 in 9 years
If you decide on the tutoring route it's always best to go on recommendation if you can, good tutors offer free assessments and realistic advice.
Our tutor was so excited when she realised my dd loved trig I am lucky that my youngest loves maths and actually looks forward to her tutor session each week.
