Put Downs from Teachers

Mum42,
Have been reading this topic with interest. So pleased you will now be able to "stick two fingers up" to this school. If I had children at this school I too would be fearing for their welfare - the teacher concerned sounds almost Dickensian in her desire to humiliate your daughter. You know what they say - a bully usually suffers from low self-esteem. (and perhaps she failed the 11+ herself!)
When my daughter was the recipient of some nasty comments from a relative recently we got our own back by composing a funny poem about her. We didn't send it to her of course but it made us both laugh and helped my daughter see that it was the relative who had the problem and not her.
I'm sure your daughter will have a wonderful time at her new school and the bad memories will soon fade.
