DH worked in data protection and having had a good nosey at everyone elses SATS levels and informing me of them, then had the audacity to complain to moi (a school gov) about the teachers' breech of said act.

We were never this organised but at independent that two of our children attended for a while several parents had 'consultation' record books. They made notes from each 'parents' evening' in this book so could immediately refer back to previous comments etc.
Never seen this at any state schools so dont know if its an 'indie' thing or maybe a parent started the 'fashion' at this particular school.
