End of Y9 exams after trip

What does your daughter think?

She is torn like myself as she wants to go on the trip and additionally not let the choir down, but also she wants to do well (she is not the sort of child who will perform well with minimal revision and being tired).

She loved the previous choir trip - it was great fun but a very tiring Mon-Fri via coach travel. She was exhausted afterwards and came down with a virus after her return, which didn't matter last time as there were no exams starting on the Monday.

She did suggest doing revision cards beforehand and taking them on the trip but I can't honestly see how much effective revision could be done with them during the trip! There have not been any tantrums or the like - she truly understands the dilemma.

I am going to discuss the issue further with the school.
