I would like to know if you are indeed a child "Emma" ?

Something about your posts tells me that all is not how it may seem. if you are, all well and good, but, I smell a strange rat.

Proud Mum I'm so glad you've said that.

I've been thinking it ever since 'Emma' started posting.

For someone who's just going into year 6 (I believe she said) her use of English isn't what you'd expect and her topics could be construed as being 'wummish'

Hear, hear! My soon to be 11 year old daughter read Emma's posts after I thought they weren't the genuine postings of a 10 yr old... she thought not too. Something doesn't ring true....

Definitely agree! "Emma" first said her sister was doing the 11+ next month - now says she is about to go into year 6 herself...

I thought it was T.I.P.S.Y too!!!!!

Hi Proud Mum x 2, Snowdrops, Clarendon, Ed's Mum & Tense

I am Emma's Mum and I can assure you that she is a 10 year old who will be 11 at the end of this year. She had appreciated the help you have been giving her but is now extremely upset that you are doubting that she is in fact a 10 year old. She tells me that the reason she first said that her sister was doing the 11+ was because she has always been told by me not to give out any personal information and therefore thought she was doing the right thing. Unfortunately now it appears that Emma can no longer log on to her account and all I can assume is that it is because of your comments. Perhaps someone would be able to assist her to let her know how she goes about getting her account unblocked as I have had to register myself to be able to put your minds at rest that she is indeed a 10 year old.

Hi Emma's Mum

Patricia has been called away unexpectedly, and has asked me to deal with this in her absence.

I am preparing a Private Message for you. You can retrieve it by logging on to the Forum, then going to the blue line at the bottom of the page. Once the message is there, it will say "you have 1 new message".

This thread has been re-locked.
