Improving NVR skills

Post by Bob1892 »

Hi
Can anyone advise how you can improve on NVR?
It's been said that nvr really comes down to innate ability and there's little you can do to improve things even if you did hundreds of nvr questions. Anyone had any joy in getting better scores using any particular methods/techniques?
My dc will be doing a cem test on super Saturday in September in Brum.
Any ideas to improve things a bit in less than 8 weeks would be welcomed. :)

I think there is a fair amount of innate ability when it comes to NVR. My DD never had problems with it and we did very little (and still getting a high score for it), whereas her friend never really got it even with lots of practice.

There's a couple of 'how to' books which might help.

Also, I was reminded of this he other day when another poster asked, there's the SPANSS
Which might help.

Shape, position, angle, number, shading and size.
