new to the grammar school exams.....
If I were to start tutoring my child right from scratch for NVR, which resource would be the best to begin with considering we have only got six months in hand. Any suggestions ??
I like Bond How to do Non Verbal Reasoning.
The AE tuition Books from this site are really good too, break it right down into components.
games like Tetris and 'spot the difference' type puzzles are also good to train the eye into noticing subtle differences.
What area are you in? It may be worth asking on the specific area boards too

Bond Assessment 3. If you get thru' those easily, then go onto Assessment 4 and then More 4 if you have time, and then Bond/NFER practrice papers. If you are unfamiliar, or uncomfortable, with NVR yourself, then the Bond How to Do book may be useful to have on the side, although the newer Bond papers include good answer explanations. Other books/papers may be useful if your area is not NFERish.Anonymum wrote:If I were to start tutoring my child right from scratch for NVR, which resource would be the best to begin with considering we have only got six months in hand.
