NEW NVR papers versus Old NVR papers

DS2 is taking the 11+ in Sept . We have completed all the old NFER ( GL assessment / Letts) papers that his brother did a couple of years ago. I'm now panicking about whether we should do the new GL assessment papers ( ie ISBN no 9780708720486 ) as well. He is very good at NVR and I would rather not burn him out. However I wondered whether anyone knew whether the new papers contain different types of NVR question that he might not have seen in the old packs or in Bond papers?? I do recall that when DS1 did the 11+ a couple of years ago that he said that there were a few types of questions he had never seen before and I wondered whether these may now be in the new papers that are available???
