Hi, I'm no expert.

I'm lucky because my dd can do NVR, but I can't. So when she gets a question wrong, we go through it together; first, eliminate wrong answers. Look at shapes in minute detail - I have to.

My dd isn't great at comprehension; I have tried showing her how to eliminate obvious wrong answers. Sometimes I find comprehension difficult.

So - we're just looking at eliminating wrong answers. A friend today reminded me to get my dd to put a pencil line through wrong answers, which we don't do - so I was grateful for that tip!

Good luck!

Sounds like a bad game show but I always say 'say what you see'.

Often that helps

I managed to work out a whole section's answers the other day without looking at the questions at all. Too long looking at multiple choice questions I think. DD was well impressed!

"say what you see" really helps with most like/unlike as they find themselves repeating something and realising where the odd one or the right one is etc.
