Have searched and I don't think anyone has queried this one.
Would really appreciate an explanation for section 7 question 7 of this paper. It is the one with a series of circles and sections of circles.
The answer is (a) but I have no idea why!
Thank you.

Hi Brooke - GL test 5 section 2 question 7 answer 'a' because........as I've said on previous posts, I am rubbish at explaining NVR verbally and prefer to be able to demonstrate it, so I apologise now if this confuses. Whether dotty or solid there is always a minimum of a quarter shape, so the sequence of the solid shape is quarter/?/three quarters/full/three quarters - so it will be a half eliminate c and e, we can eliminate b because the solid shape never moves nearer the centre and neither does the dotty shape, so there is nothing to suggest this will. Left with a and d. The dotty shape also loses a quarter, until there is only a quarter left then it starts gaining again, but there is always a link between the two as to the positioning of the gaining/losing piece, you can always make a full circle out of what you are left with. Can't be d, as if you put the solid shape on the dotty shape you would still have the top left quarter missing and not a full circle.
