I have googled it but can't find any of them, can anyone shed some light on this?

A (usually) 3x3 grid with shapes / objects in most of them, but a blank. You need to work out which of the options offered goes in the blank space. Like this or these or section B on this sample paper.

I'm told (but haven't seen) that CEM have been known to use other shapes like a honeycomb pattern of hexagons with one in the middle and 6 around the edge though.

Thanks Okanagan my Ds will love doing these he can't get enough of NVR.
