Hello there, what is odd one out in above and why

Is it d?
When you turn them all round to have stripes at top, then all the stripes are going same way except d.

The odd one out is D because the diagonal stripes (when the 'dots' are at the bottom of the domino when stood upright) are going from left to right and all the others are going from right to left.

Yes its the stripes. With this it can only be about the outside shape, the dots or the stripes, the first 2 are eliminated quickly. Turning your paper/page to check things like this works well.
