ELEVEN PLUS EXAMS INTERACTIVE CD - NVR

Son and I can't see how the given answer to eleven plus exams NVR - blank squares, set A- Qu 4 is B. We consistently make it A (rotational symmetry).
Can anyone help? THANKS

Answer is B,
1. from left to the middle the shape rotates clockwise 45 degrees
2. from middle to the right, shape rotates clockwise 45 degrees again + the line with square-head in the centre flips position.
