Hi all. Hope the prep is going well.

Does any one have any tips on how to improve time-management?

For 80 questions in 50 minutes, each question needs to completed in approx 37 seconds.

My ds is taking upto 50 seconds per question. Feeling a bit panicked - any suggestions?

Practice practice practice. My daughter was the same taking to long then guessing at the few she had left. She is up to speed now and is really the opposite finishes them quickly and is twiddling her thumbs for a minute or so at the end. :(

why the sad face skeggy?

I think that's wonderful, well done to you both!

Well, today I wrote up the following and pinned up on our notice board:

Answer all the questions in record time - 45 Seconds

Leave out all the ones that take longer

Come back to them at the end of the test if you have time

If you don't have time, mark all unanswered questions with a C

what do you think? :D

Not a bad plan. However why leave them out and go back if you have time and mark them C if unsure? I would suggest mark them C if unsure and then if you have time review them at the end!

The reason I thought that was because what if you have time at the end and cant find the one you guessed? If you dont answer it, then you will be able to see that you havent left an answer for it?

I would recommend process of elimination. It is the quickest and fastest way of doing NVR. :D
