2nd 11+ exam??

Just wondered if anyone can advise please? My child sat an 11+ exam but only got a standardised score of 87 so no pass for grammar school place. I have already arranged to sit another 11+ exam for a different gs in a few weeks but even with intensive tutoring is a pass possible or is it better to not go through sitting yet another stressful exam??
