Deffinetly a roller coaster ride this 11plus lark !!
Was so proud even this morning, he finished reading his 1st whole novel this morning and then did his maths home work...all before school and without moaning...amazing.
I will deffinetly be there for you Scarlett...we can do this !!!
Its so true the confident his gets, the lees "thick" he feels..which he is so not !!!

What heartening updates! 
My DS actually began writing a story last night 
, completely unprompted (or even known about, til i asked him what he was up to!) and it was pretty good! 
Little and often, gently encouraging. But I don't think either of us (DS or me) would've got to this stage without the encouragement (not to mention patience and forebearance 
) of this forum.

great ...dont beleive it...just loked at dates for his year 6 residential trip and its 15 days before the 11 plus..!!!!
