11+ exams versus Key Stage 2 targets

SATS are, as they say a snapshot.
My daughter didn't get any 5s, partly because she's an end of August bday, partly because she's terrible in exams. She is going to grammar school and her teachers say that although she may not fly high she will be fine because she works hard.
I try not to focus on these test scores - you know your child.

Re: kent test
I think you are entitled to ask the school at this point in what sense she was determined (and buy whom) to be borderline. The above description hardly fits the definition of a borderline child.busylizzy wrote:Hi not sure which area you are from but we have the grammar selection process in kent.
