Can anyone tell me, as I really am only guessing, is there any similarity between the Suffolk reading test and the CEM test? My DS sat this reading test recently and the way it was described to me - finding the most appropriate word to complete sentences? - and how parts of the CEM test sounded, made me wonder if there were parallels?

Have I got it right?

It sounds like a cloze test. I've not heard anything about CEM and Suffolk specifically though.
