The website(s) of the school(s) you are interested in would be a good place to start. Most state school 11+ exams are sometime between early September ad early October, but in some areas exams start before the end of the summer term of yr5. Independent school exams are generally a bit later - they have no need to report the results to parents before the deadline for state secondary school applications,which is October 31st.
