candidate no= no of kids sitting?
Does the candidate number has anything to do with how many kids are sittinh the test? or is it just a random number?

Not sure but I wouldn't really go by it. Better to check with your council how many children have applied to sit the exam this year.

I did read your post but didn't answer as I have no clue and been there twice! Checked back incase anyone else knew!
Good luck with it all.

Dd was 8476 for a school where about 1000 would be expected to sit so, although it's possible she was the 476th entrant this year, the likelihood of their needing to go over 1000 makes it difficult to draw any conclusion.

I don't know either, we have 0007 for one test and some 8 digit number for another.

Depends on the school and their system. DDs school it definitely equated to the number sitting
