I reckon it's pretty hard for all you tutors and I admire anyone who does the job, I promise to be your champion next time that rotten parent whispers your name with fear in their eyes in the playground. It's normally those parents who have selected someone else and are worried that you are better than their choice. It's all fun and games, and it's all started again for next academic year.

Of course you should charge even if the child doesn't turn up!

Plus, I had a tutor for my eldest child many years back who worked through Maths and English with them, and guided me and the child through NVR & VR. It was a very rewarding experience both of us learning together.
