rght, now we are at

reading & comp 5c
writing 4b (still)
maths 3a (up a sub level)
science 4b

she does see a tutor for maths as I don't feel she is supported in class, she is confident my daughter is within a 4 for maths.

Just been given my dd's results for end of year

Reading & Comp 4b
Writing 4b
Maths 3b

Her maths is, as you can see, her achilles heel!

She was 2a in everything in year 2, but her school burnt down 2 years ago and they were temporarily housed in a zoo and then in a temporary building for the last 2 years. The first year there was very hard for her. She had a male teacher who couldnt recall her name, she suffered from night terrors and was used as a buffer between 2 very naughty boys.
As there was so much emotional upset, they didnt "band" the children for lit & maths in yr 3 and she just couldn't follow.
She has shown a great improvement since then during this school year, but will this squeak her in there?

I went to grammar, I was in the 8th set ........ the bottom set.... for maths

Can anyone give me any hope?
