Poor kids - but much better to admit that the exam has been compromised and make them do it again than to try and pretend all is OK as has, I think, happened in other places in the past.

Those who have fretted over not doing well in the original exam can now take the opportunity to make amends.

Those who feel they had already done well will only feel confident.
