Hi - I am a newbie and have read Patricia's advice about NVR tests (thanks) but need advice as need to DIY tutor for maths and english too. Will be sitting 12+ in November and need to start as soon as we are rested after Sats ! Thanks

Which Schools are you sitting for in Nov. Different areas do different tests. With more information, peolple may be able to better help.

Thanks for reply - sitting for Poole Grammar (NFER multi choice) where they do English, Maths, NVR and English essay.

The above have a multitude of resources for both areas.

I had to DIY for these two also. I started by finding out what DC knew, took him back to basics to ensure he had a good grasp of these before then working through some papers to increase knowledge on new subjects found in these.

Can someone help? We are moving to Bucks in May and would like help/advice on 11+ exam please. I have a daughter in Yr 5 now. Can someone advice on practice programme.

times tables, quick addition/subtraction, factors and multiples..

loads of practice on these

games to improve vocabulary too.
