Trafford entrance exam
Hi everyone
Iv'e posted this query on the Trafford section but don't seem to be getting replies, so thought I'd try here. Currently tutoring for the Loreto entrance exam there, v.good english, weaker on maths. It is an internal maths test, the English is NFER. They do not do NVR. What can I expect from an 'internal' maths test?? Any help much appreciated, thanks!!

Trafford Entrance Loreto
Hi Salfordmum
I sent you a PM a few weeks ago, not sure why you didn't receive it.
We are also out of area but I have a son not a daughter, who will be sitting for St Ambrose in September.
Children from where I live (including those who have passed for Loreto and St Ambrose) have used the Bond Books- English Maths and VR. In addition my son's tutor uses the Schofield and Sims Maths Books. They are very comprehensive and only cost a couple of pounds. Start with Book 3 and then move onto Book 4.
Bond books about £5 each often on three for two at Book shops and WH Smith. Hope this helps and best of luck!
