Has anyone viewed or thinking of viewing this school.....

I wasn't going to, but we visited last night and we are returning tomorrow for a daytime visit. So far I am very impressed. Wondered what others thought.....

I am aware that the school got some bad media coverage a few years ago with regards to a knife incident and would welcome any other views.

There have been many incidents of disruptive behaviour and fighting, yes fighting during exams.

Recently there has been a new head appointed so things may have improved.

Had a morning visit today and i'm not so impressed. There was only about 1/3rd of the school in attendance.... seems that the school asked other pupils to come in after the open morning. Not a true representation from the school I feel and makes me wonder what the true picture is. There were other things that didn't seem quite right too.

Am feeling a bit deflated after thinking this could be a good non selective choice for us. Oh well the search continues.......
