Dartford Grammar Girls - change in admissions criteria

There is a thread in the Kent section about the proposed oversubscription criteria for Dartford Grammar Girls - DGGS oversubscription criteria.

If the proposed changes are allowed it's highly unlikely that anyone living in Bexley will ever gain a place at this school in the future.

It dramatically effects the chances of girls from the Crayford, Erith, Barnehurst areas. It goes against the Greenwich Judgement.

With hindsight, I should have posted this here as it is Bexley kids living close to the school who are the biggest losers.

The adjudicator is at the grammar school tomorrow.

Please read the thread in the Kent section before it's too late.

I hope you don't mind me asking but does this only effect DG or does this apply to other Kent Grammars such as Wilmington.

Hi Dani, this was Dartford Girls. The other grammars have other criteria.

I was wondering if anyone from Bexley/ Sidcup has applied for a space in a Dartford Grammar. I'm keen to find out if under the new rules we would still be able to apply for Wilmington for Girls. -Thanks
