Distances & trends?
Just been looking at the table in the 'Admissions' booklet showing maximum distances schools have offered places over the last 5 years.
5,4, 3 and 2 years ago distances seemed to increase year-on-year, and then last year they decreased slightly again. I am wondering if this was a 'blip', or if they are going to decrease year-on-year or even decrease significantly to what they were 5 years ago.
I don't suppose anyone can answer this, but I just wondered if there were any trends in pass rates, birth rates, boys v girls or anything??
Its only that I'm panicking - going on distances the past 4 years we have a very good chance of being offered a place
, but if they drop back to 5 years ago we have no chance!!! 
It just all still seems such a lottery
