I would now like to add my bit here, as a mum of a daughter who has just left Newstead because of the bullying that was NOt dealt with effectively and because of the lack of discipline, which some of the teachers admit is a problem- Although not tolerated,ie. piercing and colouring of hair of etc, in general discipline is rather poor. I could go on, but I won't as we are happy to put Newstead behind us and move on!

The skirts look a bit short, but you could always wear trousers. The make up seems to be of interest when girls are around 14.

Mungo, your daughter must be in a dfferent school to mine. I have seen tons of makeup, rightly coloured hair, shortest possible skirts, smoking!
