We tried out bond papers at home and got pleasing results....then we tried nfer, what a difference, it was so much harder. Have others found this? Are the nfer tests harder or is it just us? We have found the later test quite demoralising especially now we have found out that thats who sets the test in bexley.

My daughter found the same thing. However keep perservering these really do mirror the real tests.

if you look through the Kent forum there are lots of posts from people with similar concerns. you have lots of time to iron out the wrinkles so i would keep plugging away

I found the bond books give a solid base for both maths and vr as they cover so many topics, before moving on to the mfer practice test papers. These are all so expensive but there are more tests in the bond books to get under your belt and then throw in the odd nfer as a challenge and see how the child is progressing. I did it this way with my older son and am doing the same right now with my daughter.
